"My ballot is on its way to California, and I'm going to trust the system that it will arrive there," Harris told NBC News on Sunday, Nov. 3.
"Voters can drop off their mail-in ballots anywhere in the state," the California Secretary of State's Office stated, providing flexibility for those participating in the election.
"Voters must vote in the county they are registered in," emphasized the California Secretary of State's Office, clarifying in-person voting regulations.
Election officials are prepared for Election Day, with over 8 million ballots already cast in California by November 4.
