"Governor Gavin Newscum is trying to kill our nation's beautiful California," Trump stated, criticizing Newsom's efforts to 'Trump-proof' the state and suggesting those policy decisions are driving people away.
California Attorney General Rob Bonta emphasized that his office has been preparing for a second Trump term for months, ready to take legal action if federal law is violated.
With Republicans in control at the federal level and California's political landscape shifting, strategies have to evolve in response to a potentially emboldened Trump administration.
