California, along with Washington, ranks in the bottom 10 U.S. states for road quality, based on a study by Munley Law using data from the U.S. Bureau of Transportation Statistics. Idaho, Georgia, and Tennessee have some of the best road quality.
Top states for road quality include Idaho, Georgia, Tennessee, North Dakota, and Nebraska, while New Jersey, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Hawaii, and California have some of the worst road conditions, as per the Bureau of Transportation Statistics.
