On Sept. 17 a motorist failed to yield for deputies and recklessly evaded, prompting termination of the pursuit for public safety. On Sept. 18 a fraudulent cryptocurrency scheme caused about $897,000 in losses. Between Sept. 19 and 21 a residence on Cox Avenue was burglarized and a musical instrument and shotgun shells valued at about $1,300 were stolen.
