Imani Marquise Robinson was convicted of second-degree murder for the fatal shooting of Ceri Anne Granger on Valentines Day 2025 in Vallejo. A Solano County Superior Court jury reached the verdict after three days of deliberations and included an enhancement for personal use of a firearm. Robinson sought relief under the California Racial Justice Act, but the court found the defense failed to establish a prima facie claim. Judge William J. Pendergast sentenced Robinson to 15-years-to-life for murder and a consecutive 25-years-to-life for the firearm enhancement, totaling 40-years-to-life. Vallejo police responded to a late-night shooting on the 400 block of Sheldon Avenue; Granger was pronounced dead at the scene and detectives later obtained a Ramey warrant.
