The criminal complaint against them describes six similar armed robberies of cannabis delivery drivers this year, all in Berkeley, Hayward, or San Leandro."
"The modus operandi involved suspects using apps to place orders from cannabis dispensaries, then a gunman would carjack the drivers, taking their vehicle and the cannabis products within, according to the complaint. Cook has been released from custody. Henderson is due for a detention hearing next week, court records show. Prosecutors say that when the couple's Alameda apartment was searched back in May, authorities found $10,000 worth of commercially packaged marijuana products, and a gun in Cook's possession."
