According to a report by StorageCafe, California residents are rapidly relocating to Arizona to escape high real estate prices, with over 630,000 moving in the last decade.
The report from StorageCafe stated that homes in Arizona cost less than half of their counterparts in California, making homeownership much more attainable.
Among migrating California residents to Arizona, 36% purchased homes in their first year, highlighting a strong interest in establishing roots in the new state.
Maricopa County, encompassing the Phoenix metro area, was the top destination for Californians, receiving nearly 8,700 move-ins from Los Angeles County alone.
