The bunker sat at the base of a 100-foot tunnel and was discovered during service of a search warrant by the California Highway Patrol. Michael Jay Kamfolt, 40, was arrested Jan. 20 on suspicion of multiple felony weapons charges and is no longer in custody according to county records. Officials warned the combination posed a public safety threat.
