"Several people were injured after a vehicle smashed into Oliver's Market in Santa Rosa on Friday, officials said. The driver slammed into the front of the building, located at 560 Montecito Center, just before noon, Patricia Seffens, a spokesperson for the Santa Rosa Police Department told SFGATE. Seffens said the driver, a woman, was the only person in the car and stayed on the scene, "cooperating" with investigators."
"Four people with moderate to major injuries were taken to a local hospital, and two people were treated at the scene, Paul Lowenthal, a spokesperson for the Santa Rosa Fire Department told SFGATE. Officials have not released the ages of those injured, but Lowenthal said one was a child. Seffens said there was "significant damage" and that the store will be closed at least for the remainder of the day."
