A 4.4-magnitude earthquake shook the Mendocino County area near Ukiah in Northern California, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.The 6.5-mile deep quake hit 8 miles from Talmage at 8:44 p.m. on Saturday, June 17, according to the USGS.Talmage is about 3 miles from Ukiah on Highway 101.More than 400 people from as far as Folsom and Modesto reported feeling the tremor to the agency.
