A tragic incident occurred in Burlingame where two children were struck by a vehicle. At approximately 6:25 p.m., the two children were on the sidewalk in front of a restaurant when a vehicle hit them. A 4-year-old boy was unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene, while a 6-year-old girl was taken to the hospital for further treatment. The 19-year-old driver remained at the scene and is assisting the investigation, which is ongoing with the Burlingame Police Department and the North County Major Accident Investigation Team.
One child is dead and another is in the hospital after being hit by a car in front of a business in Burlingame Friday evening, police said.
