
"FAIRFIELD, Calif. - Three people died after a wrong-way crash on westbound Interstate 80 in Fairfield on Sunday morning, the California Highway Patrol said. CHP's Solano County division said two crashes closed the roadway east of Cordelia Weigh Station for about five hours just before 2:30 a.m."
"The first collision involved two vehicles: a white Dodge Charger occupied by two men and a black Land Rover driven by one woman, CHP said. All three were killed in the crash. Officers have not confirmed which vehicle was traveling the wrong way prior to the crash, but have witness reports of a light-colored sedan driving in the opposite direction of traffic."

Witnesses reported a light-colored sedan traveling opposite traffic, but officers have not confirmed which vehicle was wrong-way. A second crash between a black Tesla Model Y and a red Toyota Tacoma resulted in suspected minor injuries to the Tacoma driver, who was taken to a hospital. Impairment remains under investigation for the first crash and was ruled out in the second.
