"From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging."
"Consumer group Which? commissioned research among more than 6,600 account holders, cautioning that this steadfast loyalty often goes unrewarded. Which? meticulously assessed various product features, encompassing fees, overdrafts, charges, and additional perks. This was combined with direct surveys of account holders to gauge overall customer satisfaction. Providers demonstrating excellence across both these crucial areas were awarded the prestigious Which? Recommended Provider (WRP) badge."
The Independent covers topics from reproductive rights and climate change to Big Tech and produces documentaries such as 'The A Word' that focus on American women fighting for reproductive rights. Donations fund reporters on the ground, support sending journalists to speak to both sides, and keep reporting free from paywalls so journalism remains available to everyone and paid for by those who can afford it. A Which? survey of more than 6,600 account holders found 37% have stayed with one bank for over two decades. Which? assessed product features and customer satisfaction to award six providers the WRP badge: Chase, Danske Bank, First Direct, Monzo, Nationwide Building Society, and Starling Bank.
