According to ASPI's metrics, between 2019 and 2023, China produced over 8,672 research publications in advanced analytics, while the US managed only 3,454, reflecting a stark disparity.
Chinese Academy of Sciences, Huazhong University, and Xidian University lead the world in advanced analytics research, with the top ten institutions for highly cited publications all based in China.
ASPI's findings highlight that while China dominates in the production and citation of advanced analytics papers, the US still leads in the number of postgraduate researchers.
