The Maduro Government Is Probably Stealing the Election in Venezuela
Briefly

After Donald Trump imposed total US sanctions in 2017, a humanitarian disaster soon followed. Curtailing Venezuela's oil exports and blocking its access to international finance contributed to an economic collapse worse than the Great Depression in the United States, causing tens of thousands of additional deaths.
Maintaining the economic blockade forces millions into exile; nearly 8 million Venezuelans have already fled, with hundreds of thousands reaching the US border, creating the worst upheaval in Latin American history.
Sanctions did not promote democracy. Leading opposition figure Jesus 'Chuo' Torrealba explained that imposing suffering does not lead to insurrection; rather, hungry people do not revolt, showing the cruelty and cynicism behind the Trump administration's policies on Venezuela.
