"Google, SAP America, Advanced Pressure Technology, Oracle America and Cruise are among the latest tech companies to disclose decisions for layoffs in the Bay Area, official filings with the state Employment Development Department show. The five companies have decided to eliminate a combined total of 386 Bay Area jobs, according to the WARN notices they sent to the state EDD."
"Advanced Pressure Technology is cutting 237 jobs in Napa. The layoffs are expected to occur on Dec. 1. SAP America is eliminating 82 positions in Palo Alto. The staffing reductions are scheduled for Nov. 21. Google is cutting 50 jobs at several offices in Sunnyvale. The downsizing is due to take place on Nov. 9. Cruise is eliminating 12 positions in San Francisco. The layoffs occurred on Sept. 30."

SAP America will eliminate 82 positions in Palo Alto. Google will cut 50 roles at Sunnyvale offices, Cruise eliminated 12 positions in San Francisco, and Oracle America will cut five jobs in Redwood City and Pleasanton. The companies cited tariff turbulence, California's regulatory environment, and customer woes in China as drivers. WARN notices were filed with the state Employment Development Department with reduction dates in September, November and December.
