Sunsundegui has initiated pre-bankruptcy proceedings
Briefly

The Spanish coachbuilder Sunsundegui has initiated pre-bankruptcy proceedings due to a lack of liquidity and has begun renegotiating its 48.8 million euros debt.
Despite a 2025 revenue forecast of 80 million euros and an order backlog of about 500 vehicles, Sunsundegui's failure to meet immediate payments forced it into pre-bankruptcy.
Mikel Irujo, Navarre's Minister of Industry, described the situation of Sunsundegui as "extremely delicate," highlighting the challenges faced by the company's large workforce.
KPMG noted that Sunsundegui's workforce is currently "oversized," which indicates potential issues with financial sustainability and operational efficiency amid the ongoing crisis.
