Review | 'Immortality's' flawed characters are perfect. The game, less so.

He was a trenchant chronicler of teenage anxiety and suburban malaise, a prophet of 20th century alienation; still, I could scarcely imagine him as flesh and blood, a person with hobbies, habits, ticks, kinks and routines, let alone someone prone to faux pas, misunderstandings and much worse.

For so long as "Immortality" uses that as a starting point to probe further, it is a high water mark for gaming in 2022.
