Rackspace updated email hosting pricing to a $10 per-mailbox-per-month standard plan, with an Email Plus add-on for $2/mailbox/month and an Archiving add-on for $6/mailbox/month. Previously, the standard plan cost $3/mailbox/month with smaller add-on fees as recently as November 2025. Reseller partners report steep, sometimes hundreds-of-percent, price jumps and loss of previously negotiated discounts. One reseller described a 706 percent increase and said the short notice and higher costs threaten profitability because email became their largest expense. Online reports show quoted increases ranging roughly from 110 percent to nearly 500 percent for some partners.
