Micro Bird opened a 156,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Plattsburgh, NY after acquiring the site in December 2024 and investing $38 million. The plant began production seven months after acquisition following employee training and plant setup. The facility currently employs more than 225 team members with planned growth to 350 at full capacity. Production capacity for small and mid-size buses has doubled. The project represents expansion of U.S. manufacturing, creation of good-paying jobs, and strengthening of the regional transportation cluster and local economy.
