Weekly initial jobless claims fell to 199,000 for the week ending December 27, below the consensus estimate of 218,000. Nvidia is negotiating with Taiwan Semiconductor to increase production of H200 GPUs after orders totaled about 2 million units versus roughly 700,000 in current inventory. Individual movers included Micron sliding 2%, AppLovin down 1% after a 111% year-to-date gain, and Nike rising 1.7% amid insider buying.
