Koru underwent sea trials in 2023 in the North Sea and was later seen near Mallorca. Bezos also purchased a $75 million support vessel named Abeona that includes a helipad. Koru features a classical sailing design by Oceanco and Dykstra Naval Architecture with a towering navy-blue steel hull.
