"About 92% of all small businesses in Miami-Dade County are diverse," said Marco Ramirez, the chamber's vice president of business development. "The biggest problem is that these businesses don't know how to get these resources. By bringing them in, we can access them and hope to do that with this program this year."
The Diverse Business Empowerment Membership Program will give eight businesses one-year memberships to the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce. Benefits of membership include access to networking, educational seminars and more.
