Fired Rockstar employees' plea for interim pay denied

A UK employment tribunal refused interim pay to 34 former Rockstar Games employees while they await a full hearing on their dismissals. Rockstar dismissed 31 UK staff and three Canadian staff last year, citing alleged leaks of company information in a Discord channel. The Independent Workers' Union of Great Britain accused Rockstar of union-busting. A two-day hearing considered interim relief, which the tribunal denied. The IWGB said it remains confident a full tribunal will find unlawful conduct and procedural breaches. Rockstar expressed regret over necessary dismissals and maintained its position.
