Dell exec doubles down on 40-hour RTO for sales team after 'end-of-day walkthroughs' revealed workers leaving early

Dell requires onsite-classified sales team members to be present in Round Rock (RR), Nashville (NV), and Oklahoma City (OKC) offices five days a week for at least eight hours per day. The requirement follows earlier companywide return-to-office orders and arose after recent site visits and end-of-day walkthroughs found the policy was not being followed. The company frames a strong in-office presence as essential for collaboration, communication, and productivity. Employees are expected to work a regular office day and should use personal business allowance or vacation hours for time spent away when needed.
