Cathay Pacific will buy at least 30 Airbus A330-900 aircraft in a deal valued at $11 billion to bolster post-Covid recovery and work towards pre-pandemic passenger numbers.
The new planes are set to replace the existing mid-size widebody aircraft in Cathay's fleet and contribute to future growth plans, with delivery expected by the end of 2031.
