The company will move manufacturing and operations from San Diego to Mesa, Arizona, eliminating 134 operations roles in San Diego. The layoffs affect vice presidents, senior directors, managers, manufacturing associates, 29 associate district account representatives, and 19 material handlers. Affected employees are scheduled to lose their jobs on Nov. 3. Dexcom began the year with about 10,300 employees and continues development of continuous glucose monitoring devices while shifting operations and reinvesting in growth areas.
