Bumble reorganized its leadership by consolidating Product, Engineering, and Design under a single leader and naming Vivek Sagi chief product and technology officer. Michael Affronti left after roughly a year as chief product officer following the reorganization. Much of the engineering team is based in Austin, where Sagi is located. A wave of executive departures followed Whitney Wolfe Herd's return as CEO, including the CMO, CTO, CLO, and CBO. David Ard remains the only C-suite executive who was hired before March 2025. The company emphasized a need to sharpen focus to stabilize core operations and prioritize resources.
