Nets, Wizards matchup highlights the good and bad of roster rebuilding
Briefly

Poole was acquired by the Wizards last summer in a deal that sent veteran point guard Chris Paul to the Golden State Warriors. Paul, for the most part, has thrived in his new role as a reserve with the Warriors. Meanwhile Poole, stepping out of the shadow of Stephen Curry and into a role as Washington's No. 1 scoring option, is still trying to figure it out.
The pairing of Poole and veteran forward Kyle Kuzma was at least supposed to make the Wizards competitive at the very least. Washington's most-used five-man lineup of Poole, Kuzma, Tyus Jones, Daniel Gafford and Deni Avdija has a net rating of -0.3 entering Friday's game against the Nets.
