NBA Rumors: Nets, Suns to Play 2 Preseason Games in China; 1st in Country Since 2019

Prior to 2019, the NBA regularly held preseason games in China, with 17 teams participating in 28 games since 2004. The last such series involved Brooklyn against the Los Angeles Lakers, showcasing the league's historical commitment to expanding its global reach.

Joe Tsai, the owner of the Nets, expressed optimism about returning to China, stating that the league would 'love' to resume playing games there, which reflects a growing interest in re-engaging with fans in the region.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver also believes in the potential for resuming games in China, indicating, 'I think we will bring games back to China at some point,' further emphasizing the strategic importance of the Chinese market for the league.
