A 41-year-old woman was stabbed to death in her Bushwick, Brooklyn home in an apparent domestic violence attack. Police arrived at a townhouse on Cooper St. near Irving Ave. around 8:45 a.m. after the victim called for help and screamed that she was being stabbed. Officers entered through a window because they could not get through the front door. They found a man sitting on the couch while the victim lay bloody in the kitchen. The victim had been stabbed several times and her throat had been slashed. Medics took her to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, but she died. Police took the man into custody, and charges are pending. Police previously responded to at least two domestic incidents involving the two.
