"A 51-year-old woman was shoved onto the tracks and a 43-year-old woman was punched in the face during an apparent random attack at a Brooklyn subway stop Saturday morning, police said. Cops have apprehended the attacker, who was being questioned by detectives. The two victims were at the R station at 53rd St. near 4th Ave. in Sunset Park at around 8:45 a.m. when the 25-year-old suspect stormed up and shoved the older woman onto the tracks."
"EMS took both women to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn with minor injuries. The attacker ran out of the station, but was tracked down and grabbed by police a few blocks away at the 2nd Ave. Men's Shelter, cops said. Charges were not immediately filed. Specs of blood were found around the edge of the platform where the attack took place Saturday."
"At around 5 a.m. on Jan. 18, a 35-year-old man standing on the Bay Ridge-bound R train platform at the 36th St. station in Sunset Park - just over a dozen blocks from Saturday's attack - was randomly pushed onto the tracks. Cops later arrested 39-year-old homeless man Ivan Negron for the shoving. Negron, who was captured on an MTA surveillance camera as he fled the station, was grabbed after he was spotted at the Union Square station, cops said."

The attacker fled but was located and detained a few blocks away at the 2nd Ave. Men's Shelter; charges were not immediately filed. Blood was found along the platform edge. A January 18 incident nearby involved a 35-year-old man pushed onto tracks and the arrest of Ivan Negron.
