"An 89-year-old woman was beaten to death inside her Brooklyn nursing home by a fellow resident - a 95-year-old woman who used a piece of metal from a wheelchair to repeatedly strike her in the head, police said Monday. The pair got into an argument that turned physical inside Seagate Rehabilitation and Nursing Center on W. 29th St. near Surf Ave. in Coney Island about 10:25 p.m. Sunday, cops said."
"After being struck multiple times with the piece of metal, the victim was rushed by medics to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn, where she died at 5:39 a.m. Her name was not immediately released. The attacker, who suffers from dementia, was taken to South Brooklyn Health for a psychiatric evaluation. It is not yet clear if she will be charged."
