The ceremony will begin at 8:46 a.m. on Sept. 11, 2024, with a citywide moment of silence marking the moment when hijacked American Airlines Flight 11 struck the north tower.
The reading itself will continue until about 12:30 p.m. and will pause at five moments that mark the horrific sequence of the terrorist attacks.
