The MTA has announced an increase in bus service along 14 local routes in Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, and Staten Island, starting today. Specifically, in Brooklyn, service enhancements will occur on B17, B103, B74, and B26 lines. These changes are designed to decrease travel times, shorten commutes, and reduce wait times at stops, with particular focus on peak periods when ridership is highest. Riders may see a reduction in wait times by as much as two and a half minutes, which local commuters are appreciating.
Beginning today, bus riders can expect to see more MTA buses on their routes than usual.
