Two deadly stabbings in Brooklyn nearly nine hours apart leave pair of men dead: NYPD | amNewYork
Brooklyn detectives investigated two deadly stabbings within nine hours between Wednesday night and Thursday morning. The first homicide occurred around 8:10 p.m. on May 27 near Seaview Avenue and Rockaway Parkway in Canarsie. Officers from the 69th Precinct responded to a 911 call about an assault and found 34-year-old Isaiah Freeman with a stab wound to his chest. Police said Freeman was attacked after becoming involved in a verbal dispute, and he later died at One Brooklyn Health-Brookdale University Hospital. No arrests were reported, and no suspect description was available. Hours later, a man was fatally stabbed and another seriously injured in Sunset Park near City Fresh Market at 5009 6th Ave around 4:55 a.m. on May 28. The 35-year-old victim died at NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn, while the 36-year-old victim had a slashed face.
"EMS rushed both victims to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn, where the 35-year-old man was pronounced dead. Police have not yet released his dientity, pending family notification."
