Frances Helquist, a teen from Brooklyn, conquered her fear of roller coasters and now rides Luna Park's Thunderbolt frequently, building friendships with ride operators and loving every moment of it.
Helquist, knowledgeable about ride operations, currently works at Luna Park operating kiddie rides and aspires to become a roller coaster manufacturer after studying mechanical engineering in college.
