A woman with tattoos and pink slippers allegedly stabbed 34-year-old Isaiah Freeman in the chest around 8:10 p.m. Wednesday at Seaview Avenue and Rockaway Parkway in Canarsie. Police said Freeman was rushed to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where he was initially listed in critical condition and later died. Authorities said the woman fled the scene, running toward NYCHA’s Bayview Houses. Police reported that the woman had been involved in a dispute with Freeman beforehand, but they could not confirm what the dispute was about or whether the two knew each other. Crime Stoppers tips were requested through the NYPD hotline or the Crime Stoppers website.
