Tyrone Stylistic Crooks, 33, of St. Albans, was arrested and indicted on 12 counts including sex trafficking, sexual exploitation of minors, and transportation for prostitution. Since at least 2021, Crooks operated as a pimp trafficking five victims across multiple locations in Queens, Brooklyn, and Long Island. Three victims were minors between ages 14 and 17 from out of state. Crooks manipulated victims through text messages and online communications, paid their travel expenses, and coerced them into commercial sex acts through fraud, physical violence, and sexual violence. He produced sexually exploitative images and videos of minors and promoted his prostitution business online, posting explicit photos of his minor victims for financial gain.
