Saratoga mayor to give State of the City address Oct. 5

Saratoga's annual Halloween parade, the Witchy Walk-A-Bout, is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 26, from 2 to 4 p.m. This vibrant event in the Saratoga Village provides a festive atmosphere with numerous activities catering to children. Merchants in the area will join in on the celebration by providing candy, and visitors of all ages are encouraged to dress up in costumes, enhancing the community spirit and festive cheer of the Halloween season.
The Hakone Estate and Gardens is hosting a monthly tea ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 5. Tickets are priced at $10, which can be purchased through hakone.com/events, with additional costs for non-members to enter the gardens. This serene ceremony, taking place at noon and 1 p.m., offers attendees an opportunity to experience traditional Japanese tea culture in a beautiful garden setting, making it a unique cultural event for both locals and visitors.
