The United Military Veterans of Kings County (UMVKC) held its annual Patriotism Award luncheon at the Bay Ridge Manor, honoring exceptional supporters of veterans and the Memorial Day Parade.
Since the award's inception in 2001, UMVKC has recognized 50 individuals and organizations for their dedication to veterans' causes and patriotism in Brooklyn.
This year's honorees include Frank J. Fazzio, Frank Naccarato, Sr., Emily Toro, and the 715th Association, all recognized for their contributions to veterans' initiatives.
The event packed out the Bay Ridge Manor, where UMVKC reinforced its mission to educate the community about Memorial Day's importance and promote veterans' contributions.
