"Kaiser is vital to youth and family life in Coney Island and provides the common ground necessary for keeping our neighborhood's sense of community alive," Brannan said. "A space that important should be treated and maintained like the treasure it is."
"I am proud to put the funding in place to make that happen," said Brannan, who also serves as chairman of the Council's Finance Committee. "Kaiser Park is a total gem in the middle of a community that needs spaces to get outdoors, play, learn, grow, and simply be together."
