A violent protest occurred outside a Brooklyn hospital in defense of Chidozie Wilson Okeke, an illegal migrant arrested for assault and drug possession. Okeke, who overstayed his tourist visa, resisted arrest by attempting to hit ICE officers with his vehicle. After being taken to a hospital for medical attention, he refused to comply with staff. Approximately 200 protesters gathered at the hospital, leading to clashes with police and the arrest of nine demonstrators as ICE attempted to transport Okeke.
