The Ruschell Boone Scholarship, established in memory of the Emmy award-winning journalist, aims to support West Indian students pursuing journalism degrees at CUNY.
Attorney General Letitia James noted that Boone was 'beloved by New Yorkers for her thoughtful, informative reporting and focus on communities that were often ignored, marginalized or misrepresented.'
