My Favorite Airbnb: A Dreamy Home on Milos With Sunset Views of the Aegean
Briefly

Planning a summer island-hopping trip in Greece can be challenging, especially for families. The author shares their journey of organizing a family visit to Athens and islands Sifnos and Milos. With teenagers in tow, they sought relaxed accommodations that promote family interaction. Highlights include Sifnos's laidback atmosphere and gastronomy, and Milos's beautiful beaches and opportunities for exploration. Renting a house in Plaka, Milos, provided space and stunning views, making the trip enjoyable and comfortable without the typical constraints of hotel stays.
I decided that renting a house on Milos, our last stop, was the way to go. By day eight, the kids would be ready for their own bedrooms.
Sifnos, which is super laidback and not very touristy, is becoming increasingly known for its food and wine, which was a key attraction for our family.
The three-bedroom house in Plaka had epic, unobstructed 270-degree views over the Bay of Adamantas, which is something that initially hooked me.
While Milos has some of the best swimming beaches in Greece, it still offers a chill vibe that's perfect for family bonding.
