Mayor announces prime July 4th fireworks spots to be ticketed this year

The annual Macy's Fourth of July fireworks show in Manhattan will return to the Hudson River, with ticketed admission for prime viewing locations on Pier 45 and Pier 84. ADA-accessible viewing spots will also be available at specific locations. The event will take place for the first time in over a decade, shifting from the East River to the Hudson River.
10,000 free tickets will be available for the general public to watch the fireworks show from prime locations on the Hudson River. Ticket distribution will begin on June 26 at 10:00 a.m., with a limit of two tickets per resident. The West Side Highway will host the public to view the fireworks from a distance.
