Late on Saturday night, a 61-year-old man was intentionally pushed onto subway tracks at the Atlantic Avenue-Pacific Street station in Brooklyn following a verbal altercation. Fortunately, bystanders assisted him back onto the platform just before an oncoming train arrived. He sustained a facial laceration and is currently in stable condition at a local hospital. The NYPD is actively searching for the assailant, having released surveillance images showing the suspect wearing a dark jacket, white hoodie, and jeans, urging anyone with information to come forward.
The incident occurred just before midnight at the Atlantic Avenue-Pacific Street subway station, where a 61-year-old man was shoved onto the tracks during a dispute.
Police are seeking the public's help, releasing surveillance footage of the alleged attacker who was last seen wearing a dark jacket, white hooded sweatshirt, and jeans.
