Mamdani, Sanders rally supporters at Brooklyn College town hall ahead of mayoral election * Brooklyn Paper
"New York City is not for sale to Donald Trump's billionaire donors. It is not for sale to corporations like DoorDash, it is not for sale to corrupt politicians like Andrew Cuomo,"
"It has shown once again that politics is something that can be powered by ordinary people with not just a rejection of authoritarianism, but a belief in what is possible as well,"
"Free, free Palestine"
Zohran Mamdani joined Bernie Sanders for a town hall at Brooklyn College as the New York City mayoral race entered its final stretch. The event formed part of Sanders' Fighting Oligarchy tour, which calls out billionaire and corporate influence and has drawn over 300,000 attendees across 21 states. About 1,700 people attended at the Leonard & Claire Tow Center for the Performing Arts. Mamdani criticized CUNY's firing of four adjunct professors who alleged their dismissal related to Palestinian solidarity and warned that New York City must not be sold to wealthy donors, corporations, or corrupt politicians.
