"Everybody's ready with their rain gear and their umbrellas, and they're enjoying themselves, and that's what the Antic is all about," she said.
"I've never made that mistake again. So now I revere the Antic. The Antic is sacred," she said, noting the fair's role in engaging Brooklynites in community planning.
"So there are people out talking about that because a lot of people don't know it's on the ballot," Simon told.
