Brooklyn's pro-soccer league has postponed its inaugural home match due to deficiencies in the turf at Maimonides Park, rendering the field unplayable.
Athletes were slated to take the field Aug. 31 against the Carolina Ascent, but officials have yet to announce a new match date for the reschedule.
